On Ice Focus

This camp was designed for players making the jump from non-checking to checking levels as well as second year bantam players looking to improve their body contact skills.

It’s important to note that being on the received end of a body check is a high frequency event during games. Having the proper edge work, knowing how to position both puck and body are crucial skills to be successful.

Other important aspects we will focus on are route reading, scanning and understanding where pressure comes from in different situations so the players can be more proficient at problem solving.
